Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dino Cazares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Monroe Hutchen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hutchen has chosen Al Kapone-You Ain't Stoppin Me as his entrance music. Monroe Hutchen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dino Cazares! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Monroe Hutchen! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Leandro Rodrigues and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hutchen closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Cazares quickly recovers to half guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Cazares controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Hutchen should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Hutchen is thwarting Cazares's attempts to control the position. Cazares makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Cazares. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Cazares is on top in guard.
Cazares postures up.
Hutchen is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Cazares postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Hutchen has momentary wrist control but Cazares slips an elbow through the middle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hutchen trying to keep a closed guard but Cazares is proving a slippery customer.
Cazares is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Cazares wants to pass the guard but Hutchen is keeping the position. Cazares stops Hutchen from standing up. Cazares trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Monroe Hutchen hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Cazares scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Hutchen shoots in looking for a takedown but Cazares manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hutchen's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Hutchen with a poor takedown and Cazares counters with a shoot takedown. Hutchen fights it but they end up in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cazares not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Cazares distracts Hutchen with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Cazares looking to pass the guard. Cazares wants to control from the top but Hutchen keeps moving. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cazares accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Cazares has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Hutchen is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Cazares drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cazares jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Hutchen utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cazares pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hutchen is keeping the position for now. Hutchen is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Cazares trying to control but Hutchen is working from the bottom. Hutchen working a defensive guard but Cazares passes into half guard.
Cazares content to control rather than advance. Cazares wants to control but Hutchen is keeping him busy. Hutchen is trying to maintain the position but Cazares is very close to passing his half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cazares wants to control but Hutchen is keeping him busy. Cazares is taking a breather. Hutchen says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Cazares shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hutchen's guard. Cazares is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Hutchen wants to sweep but no luck. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hutchen is trying to keep Cazares in close.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cazares pushing down on Hutchen's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dino Cazares dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Hutchen misses with a head kick.
Hutchen moves to clinch but Cazares breaks away and Cazares makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Hutchen shoots in for a double leg but Cazares sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Cazares dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Cazares goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hutchen misses with a takedown attempt and Cazares decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hutchen's guard. Hutchen can't keep his opponent in guard - Cazares advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Cazares is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Cazares is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Hutchen can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Hutchen is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cazares is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Cazares!
