Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stephen Vickers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Road Warrior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vickers's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Blue Stahli - So So Bad. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Stephen Vickers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Road Warrior! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Vladimir Khabensky and Valeri Chadov.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Warrior is defended easily by Vickers. Stephen Vickers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Warrior misses with a two punch combination.
Warrior swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Vickers doesn't manage to clinch there - Warrior circles away.
Warrior avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Warrior moves into the clinch successfully.
Vickers tries to land a knee to the head but Warrior blocks with his arms.
Vickers pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Warrior drives through and clinches with Vickers against the cage.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Vickers takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Vickers tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Warrior's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Vickers moves into range and clinches up with Warrior. Vickers tries a knee to the head but Warrior blocks it.
Vickers is breathing heavily. Vickers is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Vickers lands a knee to the body.
Warrior blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Warrior will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Vickers up against the cage.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Warrior takes a knee to the side of the body. Vickers has a couple of punches blocked by Warrior.
Warrior pulls guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Warrior working a defensive guard here.
Vickers pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Warrior is keeping the position for now. Warrior looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Vickers has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Warrior is proving hard to escape from.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Warrior pulls Vickers in close to his closed guard and prevents Vickers from doing any damage or advancing position.
 The ref stands the fighters back up. Road Warrior was stalling too much, according to the referee. Vickers avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Warrior throws a head kick that misses enabling Vickers to counter with a crisp jab. Vickers misses with a body shot.
Vickers stuffs the takedown. Vickers pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Warrior moves away from the strike by Vickers. Warrior throws a body punch but Vickers moves out of range. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A slow jab from Vickers misses its intended target. Warrior circles away from the clinch attempt.
Warrior connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Stephen Vickers dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Vickers plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Vickers fails in his attempt to clinch. Warrior slips under a jab. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Warrior closes this distance looking for a takedown but Vickers circles away. Vickers avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Vickers lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. A kick lands to the mid section there for Vickers. Vickers scores with a nice strike. Warrior scores with a hook. Warrior takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Warrior throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Vickers lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Warrior gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Vickers takes the fight into the clinch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Vickers crunches a lovely knee into Warrior's ribcage.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Vickers tries to break free but Warrior pushes him back against the cage. Warrior is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Vickers to keep the fight standing.
Vickers breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Warrior throws a right hand that Vickers ducks under and follows up with a left that Vickers also avoids with ease. Warrior fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Stephen Vickers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Road Warrior. Warrior circles away from the clinch attempt.
Vickers fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Warrior. Vickers lands a jab to Warrior's midsection. Nice uppercut there from Vickers. Vickers is looking to take this fight into the clinch. A solid leg kick lands there for Vickers.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Vickers works over Warrior's head and body with a nice combination. Stephen Vickers is winning the standup battle so far. Vickers pushes Warrior away with a front kick. Warrior misses with a takedown attempt - Vickers sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Vickers throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Vickers cracks Warrior with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Vickers connects with an inside leg kick. Vickers defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Warrior. Vickers ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Vickers fails in his attempt to clinch. Vickers thows a left - swing and a miss! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Warrior fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Vickers avoids it really well and circles away.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. A short uppercut from Warrior. Vickers tries to land a knee to the head but Warrior blocks with his arms.

Vickers lands a damaging elbow. Vickers pressing his opponent against the cage. Vickers has a couple of punches blocked by Warrior.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Warrior has had enough of the clinch but Vickers keeps him there for the moment. Vickers throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Warrior blocks it with crossed arms. Vickers tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Warrior will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Vickers lands with an uppercut that bounces Warrior off the cage and back into range. Stephen Vickers is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Vickers throws a hook but Warrior avoids it easily. Vickers tries to close the distance and clinch but Warrior swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. A head kick misses from Vickers. Warrior fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Vickers thumps Warrior with a low kick. Warrior throws a head kick but Vickers moves out of range.

Warrior is trying to push Vickers away but Vickers has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Vickers digs a right hand into Warrior's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Warrior's gas tank. Warrior takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. A short uppercut from Vickers.

Warrior manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Warrior looking for a sweep. Not yet Warrior, not yet. Vickers wanted to stand there but Warrior had control of the position. Warrior looking to control.
Vickers would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Warrior is trying to keep Vickers in close.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Vickers accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Vickers throws a strike but Warrior rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Warrior throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Vickers works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Vickers wants to get back to his feet but Warrior passes into half guard.
Vickers is trying to stand up here but Warrior is controlling him well. Well, if Warrior is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight� I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza� Yum. Can't wait.
Warrior is working for a submission of some sort.
 That's four minutes gone in the round.
Warrior postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Vickers to stand up. Vickers with a jab. Warrior ducks right into an uppercut from Vickers. Vickers throws an overhand right that lands on Warrior's shoulder, as Warrior tries to avoid the shot. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Warrior throws a head kick that misses. Vickers lands a front kick. Road Warrior has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Stephen Vickers is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Stephen Vickers is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. An inside leg kick lands from Vickers. Warrior misses with a few strikes there.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Stephen Vickers. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Vickers, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
