Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Master Blaster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pedro Bial (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Blaster might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Number of The Beast - Iron Maiden. The crowd seem to be enjoying Bial's choice of entrance music: Big Brother Brasil Song. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Master Blaster! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pedro Bial! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blaster closes the distance and pushes Bial back into the cage. Bial is trying to break the clinch but Blaster has him pressed against the cage. Blaster looking for a takedown. Blaster drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Blaster tries for a takedown. No joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Master Blaster. That's going to take a lot out of him. A frustrated look appears on Bial's face as he tries to break the clinch. Blaster misses with a punch to the body.
Bial looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. A head punch on the inside from Blaster fails to land. Bial is looking to break free of the clinch but Blaster has double underhooks. Bial is pressed up against the cage. Blaster has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bial down to the mat. Bial avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Blaster avoids the head kick by Bial.

Blaster shoots in but Bial avoids the takedown attempt easily. Bial misses with a body kick. A nice inside leg kick there by Blaster. That's going to slow Bial down. Blaster blocks the body kick.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Blaster missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Blaster seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Blaster not landing any meaningful shots this time. Bial looks like he's trying to stand up.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Bial is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Blaster is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bial doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Blaster. Blaster throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Blaster stops Bial from getting back to his feet.

Blaster seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bial does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Blaster tries to pass to full mount but Bial defends it. That's four minutes gone in the round. Blaster thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Bial is looking to escape. Blaster is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Bial has managed to free his arm - good work. Blaster is trying to control the action in half guard but Bial is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Blaster is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Bial is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Blaster prevents Bial from standing back up.
Blaster is nestled in close to Bial, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Blaster working the head and body with strikes. Blaster is working for a submission of some sort.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bial is trying to stand.
Blaster has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Blaster throwing shots but Bial is blocking nicely. Blaster missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Master Blaster dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Bial wants to stand and escape but Blaster is having none of it. Blaster might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Blaster trying to control but Bial is working from the bottom. Bial preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Blaster drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Blaster jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Bial is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blaster postures up in Bial's guard and throws a big left but Bial blocks it. Blaster content to stall in guard here. Blaster loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Bial preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Bial keeping moving, preventing Blaster from controlling successfully. Bial wants to stand and escape but Blaster is having none of it. Blaster showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bial connects with a high kick.

Master Blaster is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bial tries to keep at a distance but Blaster has taken the fight into the clinch. Bial wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Blaster has him pressed against the cage. Bial wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Bial manages to break the clinch.
Bial throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Sloppy strikes from Blaster. Those never looked like landing. Bial circles away from the clinch attempt and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Master Blaster will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Bial thows a body kick. Blaster tries to catch it but that hurt him. Bial scores with a push kick. Bial is looking to land body kicks. Bial swats away the attempt to clinch by Blaster. Blaster changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bial tries to avoid it but Blaster manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bial to the ground. Bial escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Bial keeps the fight on the outside. Blaster tries to clinch but Bial moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bial throws a leg kick which misses Blaster's front leg but catches the back leg as Blaster tries to avoid it. Blaster tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bial was well out of range. Poor timing from Blaster. Bial throws a low kick but Blaster moves out of range easily. Bial does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Blaster blocks a head kick by Bial.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bial is looking to escape. Blaster looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blaster throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Master Blaster overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Blaster landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Blaster is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Blaster wants to take a breather but Bial is having none of it. Pedro Bial has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bial avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Blaster. Bial pushes Blaster off looking to stand but Blaster dives back in and keeps control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bial tries to kick Blaster off in order to stand up. Blaster Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Blaster tries to score with some ground and pound. Bial controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Blaster wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bial keeps working. Blaster avoids the strikes from the bottom by Bial. Blaster lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Bial down.
And that's the end of the fight! Master Blaster showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Blaster, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
