Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Bee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Byron Doerkson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bee comes to the cage accompanied by RUMBLE-BEE. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doerkson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Bee lands a really nice looking cross but Doerkson seems unphased.

Bee scores with the left hand. Doerkson knows he should have avoided that one.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Good leg kick by Bee there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Bee throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bee lands a jab-cross combination.
Oooh a lovely combination from Bee sends Doerkson down but not out. Bee dives into side control looking to finish.


Doerkson is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Doerkson misses with a strike from the bottom.
Doerkson is still in real trouble! Can Bee finish him?
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Doerkson is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Bee off and has taken his back!

Bee is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Doerkson gets his way!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Bee has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Doerkson is working away from the top position though.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Bee throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Bee throws a lazy right hand but Doerkson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bee throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Doerkson.
Bee stalks Doerkson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Doerkson's face. Doerkson staggers backwards, shaken.
Bee throws an overhand right that lands on Doerkson's shoulder, as Doerkson tries to avoid the shot.
Doerkson takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Bee connects with a jab.
Bee smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Bee loads up on a big right hand but Doerkson slips the punch.

Danga de danga de dang - Bee scores with a four punch combination!
Bee looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Bee is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Doerkson.
Bee throws a hook to the side of Doerkson's head but Doerkson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Doerkson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Doerkson wants to sweep here but Bee controlling him for the moment.

Doerkson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bee can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Doerkson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Bee is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Doerkson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Bee's back instead.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Doerkson is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Bee defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to James Bee.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bee, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
