Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Churchill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rock Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Churchill's entrance music is Will Ye No Come Back Again?. A fine choice. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Churchill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
25 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rock Johnson! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Churchill closes the distance and clinches. Johnson stalls. Churchill blocks an elbow strike. Johnson gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Churchill regains guard.
Johnson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Let's hope that Johnson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Johnson trying to control the position from guard on top but Churchill is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Rock Johnson. Churchill throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Jack Churchill seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This has been an exciting period of action! Johnson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Churchill prevents Johnson from moving into mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Churchill is trying to improve his position. Johnson controlling from side mount. Churchill tries to improve position but can't. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Churchill struggling a bit here. Churchill tries to improve position but can't. Johnson trying to control the position but Churchill is working away. Churchill can't do much from the bottom here. Churchill is looking for a sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson controlling the position. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Churchill connects with a single shot there. Churchill digs a good hook to Johnson's body.
Johnson takes a head kick and keeps coming.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Johnson avoids the head kick by Churchill.
Churchill uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Nice takedown defense from Churchill. No joy for Johnson on that attempt. An inside leg kick from Churchill misses. Churchill moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Churchill sizes up Johnson with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Johnson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Churchill sprawls well. Churchill wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Johnson gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson tries for a takedown but Churchill sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Jack Churchill has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rock Johnson. Churchill lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Churchill throws a leg kick and Johnson counters with a nice double leg into guard. Johnson wants to control from the top but Churchill keeps moving. Churchill preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Churchill uses the cage to get back to his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Churchill throws a right hand that misses
so Johnson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Johnson wants to pass the guard but Churchill is keeping the position. Johnson preventing the sweep.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson trying to control the position from guard on top but Churchill is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Churchill looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Churchill is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Johnson wants to control from the top but Churchill keeps moving. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Rock Johnson. Churchill looks to score with a jab to the body but Johnson is just out of range. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Johnson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Johnson throws a leg kick which misses Churchill's front leg but catches the back leg as Churchill tries to avoid it. Churchill lands a nice hook to Johnson's body. Johnson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jack Churchill will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Churchill with a body punch. A glancing blow. Johnson shoots in looking for a takedown. Churchill tries to sprawl out of it but Johnson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Churchill manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Nice sprawl there from Churchill as Johnson shoots in. A kick lands to the mid section there for Churchill. Johnson slips under a jab. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Churchill.
Johnson has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Churchill. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Churchill scoring well with a low kick there.
Johnson is breathing heavily. Churchill throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Johnson misses with a double jab.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Churchill, as that shot connected.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Churchill scoring well with a low kick there.
Churchill throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Johnson on the side of the head. Churchill lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Churchill lands with a kick to the ribs.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A lazy left from Churchill finds it's target. Churchill fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Johnson. Churchill misses the shot to the body. Churchill connects with a solid leg kick. Johnson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Churchill is fending him off so far but Johnson persists. Nope, Churchill circles away and we're back to standing. Jack Churchill has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rock Johnson. Churchill stuns Johnson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. The fight moves into the clinch position. Churchill scores with a shot to the side of Johnson's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Churchill scores with a shoulder strike. Churchill working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Johnson is rocked! Churchill stops a takedown attempt from Johnson.
Johnson is still on wobbly legs! Can Churchill finish him? Johnson tries for a takedown but Churchill manages to get underhooks.
Johnson seems to have recovered his senses. Churchill working some nice short punches in the clinch. Churchill has Johnson pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Johnson is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Churchill - that's hurt Johnson badly! Oh, another knee lands and Johnson is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Johnson doesn't seem to be complaining.
