The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson tries to bum rush Weed with a series of wild strikes but Weed uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Johnson misses with a series of wild punches.

Johnson slips a jab from Weed.
Johnson throws a lazy right hand but Weed sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Weed moves in looking to clinch but Johnson pushes him off.

Johnson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Weed circles away quickly and effectively.
Brock Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Johnson is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Weed throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Johnson's waist but Johnson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Weed off to one side.

and Johnson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Weed fails with the takedown
and Johnson counters with a huge left! Weed is in big trouble! He's backing up but Johnson isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Weed from any more damage. A dominating finish by Johnson!
