Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eljas Aalto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller has chosen Mario Bros Underground Theme as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Eljas Aalto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mike Miller! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Miller, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Aalto walks into a jab. Aalto throws a lazy right hand but Miller sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A big left from Aalto misses. Miller slips under a jab from Aalto. Aalto keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Aalto throws out a loose jab but Miller uses good head movement to avoid it. Miller tries to clinch but Aalto moves out of range. Aalto misses the shot to the body. Miller getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Miller leaves Aalto with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Miller connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Aalto slips under a jab from Miller. Aalto shoots in for a takedown but Miller shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Miller finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Miller throws a leg kick that misses. Aalto getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Miller displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Aalto. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eljas Aalto. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller connects with a good right hand that stumbles Aalto. Aalto circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Miller lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Mike Miller is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Miller looks to score with a jab to the body but Aalto is just out of range. Miller swings away with a leg kick that misses. Aalto blocks a leg kick. Miller displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Aalto takes a shot right to the bread basket. Miller thows a left - swing and a miss! Miller is looking to clinch. Miller swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Aalto counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Miller steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Aalto. Miller throws a nice looking combination but Aalto bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Miller slips under a jab from Aalto. Miller rushes Aalto and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Aalto lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Miller or not.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Mike Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Miller staying out of range there. Aalto slips under a jab. Aalto closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Aalto misses with the ground and pound. Aalto advances to mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Miller looks gassed! Aalto can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Miller is looking to escape. Aalto throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Miller really wants to buck Aalto off and get back to his feet. Aalto thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aalto scoring with strikes but Miller is staying in there. Aalto goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Miller is on top in guard.
Aalto has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Miller can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Aalto manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Aalto wants to control the pace but Miller is squirming around nicely. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Miller can do anything to dispel that myth. Aalto throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Miller because Aalto loaded up on that one. Miller really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Aalto. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Aalto lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Miller hang on? This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Aalto misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Aalto has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Miller is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Aalto is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Miller to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Miller shrugs it off. Miller's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Aalto trying to control but he's not successful this time. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Miller defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Aalto. Aalto scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Miller?
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eljas Aalto dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Aalto lands with a good body shot. Aalto throws an overhand right that lands on Miller's shoulder, as Miller tries to avoid the shot. Miller connects with a crisp jab. Miller tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Miller misses with a wild combination.
Miller tries to clinch but Aalto moves out of range. Aalto showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Miller.
Miller avoids a punch combination nicely.
Aalto looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Miller preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Aalto trying to control the position from guard on top but Miller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Aalto trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aalto looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Miller keeping moving, preventing Aalto from controlling successfully. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Aalto in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Aalto drops back, looking for a kneebar! Miller looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Miller looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Miller! Miller has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Aalto changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Miller looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Aalto is working to tighten is grip on Miller's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Miller has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Aalto is really squeezing tight and eventually Miller passes out! Aalto breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Eljas Aalto! After winning the bout, Eljas Aalto thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
