Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leif Ericssonl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frenchy Fuqua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ericssonl comes to the cage accompanied by Battle for Asgard. Fuqua has chosen Prodigy- Diesal Power as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ericssonl thows a body shot but no joy.
Fuqua bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Ericssonl's head backwards.
Fuqua just misses with a punch to the body.

and Fuqua counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Fuqua.

Ericssonl has his foot on Fuqua's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fuqua works his way back into a safe position though.

Ericssonl uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Fuqua rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ericssonl moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Fuqua takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

It looks like Leif Ericssonl has been cut.

Fuqua throws a solid leg kick but Ericssonl takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Fuqua.

Ericssonl throws out a loose jab but Fuqua uses good head movement to avoid it.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Fuqua has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Ericssonl defend it? Fuqua steps over the head and cranks it - Ericssonl is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Fuqua!
