Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Robert Wiltsie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Grotesk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wiltsie comes to the cage accompanied by Mein Herz Brennt. Vladimir Grotesk has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Robert Wiltsie's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Robert Wiltsie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vladimir Grotesk!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A cross from Wiltsie lands.
Wiltsie misses with a body shot.
Wiltsie cracks Grotesk with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Wiltsie connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Grotesk's hands.
Grotesk slips a jab and a cross from Wiltsie.
Grotesk falls off balance throwing a combination

and Wiltsie counters with a nice double leg into side control. Grotesk won't be happy with that.
Grotesk manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Grotesk keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Wiltsie's head.

Wiltsie controls Grotesk momentarily but Grotesk frees himself.

Wiltsie has his foot on Grotesk's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Grotesk works his way back into a safe position though.
Grotesk tries to free his leg and advance position but Wiltsie is retaining full guard.

Wiltsie goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Grotesk turns into him and now he's in Wiltsie's guard.
Grotesk must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wiltsie is on top in guard.

Wiltsie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Grotesk swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Wiltsie drops back looking for a leg! Grotesk is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Grotesk manages to kick Wiltsie off! Wiltsie jumps back into Grotesk's guard.
Wiltsie advances position into side control!

Wiltsie is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Grotesk is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Robert Wiltsie dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Grotesk misses with a takedown
and Wiltsie counters with a stiff right hand.
Vladimir Grotesk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wiltsie lands with an uppercut that bounces Grotesk off the cage and back into rage.
Wiltsie stalks Grotesk and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Grotesk's face. Grotesk staggers backwards, shaken.
Wiltsie looks to land a combination but Grotesk avoids it well.
Wiltsie tries to bum rush Grotesk with a series of wild strikes but Grotesk uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Wiltsie connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Wiltsie avoids the head kick by Grotesk.

and Wiltsie counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Wiltsie drops back looking for a leg! Grotesk is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Grotesk manages to kick Wiltsie off! Wiltsie jumps back into Grotesk's guard.

Wiltsie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Wiltsie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Wiltsie is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Grotesk throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Grotesk can't keep his opponent in guard - Wiltsie advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Wiltsie wants to control but Grotesk is keeping him busy.

Wiltsie has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Grotesk defend it? Wiltsie steps over the head and cranks it - Grotesk is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Wiltsie!
