Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malenko moves out of range of the strikes.
Krieg throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Malenko looks to score with a jab to the body but Krieg is just out of range.
Malenko is trying hard to land a takedown here. Krieg sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Pavel Malenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Malenko shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Krieg as he avoids it easily.
Malenko ducks under a wild hook from Krieg.
Malenko fails with a takedown attempt.
Konstantin Krieg has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pavel Malenko.
Malenko clinches up with Krieg and pushes him back against the cage.
Krieg is pushing Malenko up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Malenko tries to break free but Krieg pushes him back against the cage.
Malenko drops down looking for an ankle pick but Krieg pulls his leg out and moves away.
Malenko slips a straight right by Krieg.
Malenko misses with a wild combination.
Malenko staying out of range there.
Krieg throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Malenko throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Krieg's waist but Krieg gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Malenko off to one side.
Krieg throws a looping overhand right but Malenko ducks down to avoid it.
Malenko looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Malenko changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Krieg tries to avoid it but Malenko manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Krieg to the ground. Krieg escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Malenko looks gassed!
Krieg has managed to clinch.
Malenko wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Krieg landing knees to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Krieg is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Malenko is keeping busy.

Malenko tries to circle away but Krieg has him pinned against the cage.
Malenko jumps guard but Krieg turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Krieg unloads a knee to the mid-section. Malenko lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Krieg comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
It looks like Pavel Malenko has been cut.
Krieg controlling the action here for a moment.
Krieg connects with a nasty looking knee right to Malenko's face.
Krieg manages to break the clinch.
Malenko slips a jab and a cross from Krieg.

Krieg has closed the distance and engaged Malenko in a clinch.
Malenko has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Krieg lands an elbow just above Malenko 's eye.
Krieg lands a big knee to the head and Malenko goes down! Krieg pounces and finishes the fight with strikes! He jumps to his feet and celebrates with the crowd!
