Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Igor Prikhodko and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matt blocks a head kick by Silver.
Matt throws a head kick but Silver moves out of range.

Matt lands a nice leg kick that just misses Silver's sensitive parts.
Silver fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Matt to the ground. Silver is now in Matt's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Matt bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Silver's guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Poor Matt hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Silver will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Matt scores with a punch to the head.

Silver looks for a takedown but Matt sprawls well.
Matt missing with a left hand there. Silver was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Silver throws a leg kick that is checked
and Matt counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Matt throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Silver's waist but Silver gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Matt off to one side.
Silver closes the distance and clinches up with Matt, looking for a takedown. Silver pushes Matt against the cage but Matt circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Silver tries a head kick but it misses.
Matt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

A looping hook to the body misses from Silver. Matt does a little dance to reset his feet.
Matt lands a two punch combo.
It looks like John Silver has been cut.
Matt throws a head kick but Silver moves out of range.
Matt avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Matt pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Matt avoids the head kick by Silver.
Matt tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Silver was well out of range. Poor timing from Matt.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Matt.
Matt avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Matt fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Silver misses with a head kick.
Matt throws a powerful right kick. Silver tried to block low but the kick was high! Silver was taken right off of his feet! Matt jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
