Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Luke Summers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Teddy Bear! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Summer Carpenter and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bear throws a right and a left that both miss. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Summers. Summers dives in and grabs Bear's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bear pushes down on Summers's head and hops out. Summers shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bear as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luke Summers. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bear misses with a body kick. Bear throws a sloppy head kick and Summers moves out of range easily. Bear throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Summers shoots in but no luck this time. Summers lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Summers takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Bear throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Bear takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Summers throws a right and a left that Bear avoids nicely. Summers throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Bear misses with a body kick. Summers drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Summers trying to control but Bear is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bear has momentary wrist control but Summers slips an elbow through the middle. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Summers trying to control but Bear is working from the bottom. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bear can do anything to dispel that myth. Bear wants to stand and escape but Summers is having none of it.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Luke Summers wasn't doing enough on the ground. Bear delivers a nice body kick. Summers swings for the body but Bear moves out of range.
Teddy Bear is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bear looks for the body kick but Summers saw that one coming.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Summers missing with a left hand there. Bear was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Summers shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bear as he avoids it easily. Bear keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Summers looks for a takedown but Bear sprawls well. Bear scores with a nice body kick.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Summers takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Luke Summers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Summers will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Luke Summers will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Bear scores with a spinning back kick! Bear stuffs the takedown attempt from Summers. Summers gets slowly back to his feet. Summers fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Bear connects with a high kick.
It looks like Luke Summers has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Summers shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bear pinned against the cage. Bear gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Summers ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bear moves away. Summers throws a good cross that connects.

Summers throws a sloppy head kick and Bear counters with a nice kick to the body. Bear slaps away a takedown attempt from Summers, before circling back to the center of the mat. Summers misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bear lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Teddy Bear showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Luke Summers's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Bear blocks a leg kick. Summers shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bear but Bear pushes him off and we're back to square one. Bear stuffs the takedown attempt from Summers. Summers gets slowly back to his feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bear throws a sloppy head kick and Summers moves out of range easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Teddy Bear comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Bear has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
