Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Harry Sears (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marc Zietsch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Harry Sears! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marc Zietsch! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, John Kavanagh and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zietsch throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Zietsch jabbing away but nothing is landing. Sears shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Sears uses his free foot to push down on Zietsch's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Zietsch. Sears with good strikes from the mount here! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Sears cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Zietsch is looking to improve his position but Sears isn't that keen on the idea. Zietsch takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sears lands a heavy elbow. Zietsch bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Zietsch wants to control from the top but Sears keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sears wants to sweep but no luck. Sears is striking from the bottom but Zietsch uses the opportunity to pass into half guard. Sears is not content to let Zietsch control the position. Sears regains full guard. Nicely done. Sears is trying to keep Zietsch in close.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Zietsch tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Zietsch misses with a hook to the body
and Sears counters with a takedown into side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sears is looking to take a break and control but Zietsch is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Zietsch tries to bench press Sears off him but Sears keeps the position. Sears is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Zietsch is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zietsch is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Sears's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Sears looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Harry Sears just wasn't active enough. Sears ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Sears slips a jab and a cross from Zietsch.
Sears fails in his attempt to clinch. Sears bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Sears is breathing heavily. Zietsch looking for a sweep but Sears has passed into full mount! Oh no! Sears thowing shots but they're missing. Sears content just to control the position here. Zietsch should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zietsch tries to lock up and control but Sears gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Sears is trying to take his opponent's back.
Sears working away from the top, dropping strikes. Sears avoids the attempt from Zietsch to control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Zietsch tries to get back to half guard but can't. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. A nice elbow there by Sears. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sears looking to control but Zietsch is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Zietsch can't escape the position.
Sears is trying to control here but Zietsch has managed to regain half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Harry Sears dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Zietsch swings and misses with a hook to the body.

and Sears counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Zietsch's guard now. Sears trying to control but Zietsch is working from the bottom. Sears throwing strikes but missing. Zietsch has a closed guard, preventing Sears from standing up. Zietsch controls Sears momentarily but Sears frees himself. Zietsch looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Sears is defending well. Zietsch quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Sears has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Zietsch celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
