With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walter Chestnut!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Chad Campbell and Anthony Taglia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Selmy scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Chestnut doesn't seem bothered though.
Chestnut feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Selmys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Selmy closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Selmy feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Chestnut escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Selmy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That was a close round but I would say that Barristan Selmy will probably get the nod.

I really don't envy Selmy right now.
Selmy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Chestnut on the ground.

Chestnut is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Selmy with him. Selmy is trying to defend but Chestnut has an arm under the chin now! Selmy grimaces and is forced to tap out!

Walter Chestnut decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
