Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Veikko Velmu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Harbor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James Harbor will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Veikko Velmu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, James Harbor! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paulsen Ambrosius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Velmu has his takedown stuffed and Harbor counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Velmu fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Veikko Velmu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Velmu uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Harbor. Harbor tries to score a power double leg takedown but Velmu sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Harbor somewhat. Velmu misses with a body shot.
Harbor shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Velmu sprawls well. Velmu wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Harbor gets slowly back to his feet. Harbor uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Velmu scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Velmu scores with punches from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Velmu throwing shots but missing, from side control. Check out the look on Velmu's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Velmu trying to control the position but Harbor is working away. Harbor tries to get back to half guard but can't. Velmu trying to control the action but Harbor is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Velmu lands a few punches from side control. Velmu working the ground and pound. Velmu misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Harbor wants to control but Velmu postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Velmu working the ground and pound from side control. Velmu in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Velmu creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Harbor sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Harbor takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. You can see the frustration on Harbor's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Velmu lands an elbow.
Harbor is rocked! Velmu scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Harbor to see if he's OK. Harbor is still in real trouble! Can Velmu finish him? Velmu working the head and body with strikes. Velmu knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Harbor on the ground. Velmu in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Harbor looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Velmu turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
