Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Turol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mack Ton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Turol kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Fort Minor - Remember the name. Mack Ton has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Mike Turol's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mike Turol! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mack Ton! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ton is looking to clinch. Ton keeps the fight on the outside. Mack Ton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A looping hook to the body misses from Ton. Turol does a little dance to reset his feet. Ton wants to clinch and Turol counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Turol. Turol is working for takedown but Ton is calmly controlling the position for now. Turol is trying to break the clinch but Ton is controlling him. Turol jumps guard but Ton stands there with Turol around his waist. Turol gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Turol is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Ton pulls him back up using the underhooks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Turol. That's going to take a lot out of him. Turol struggles to land a body shot inside as Ton controls his hands.
Turol throws a punch but it's blocked by Ton. Ton ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Ton no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Turol working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Turol throws a strike but Ton rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ton trying to control the position from guard on top but Turol is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Turol keeping full guard, as Ton tries to pass. Ton wants to control from the top but Turol keeps moving. The ref stands the fighters back up. Mack Ton was stalling too much, according to the referee. Turol avoids the body shot from Ton.
Turol tries to clinch up but Ton circles away and keeps his distance. Ton shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Turol but Turol pushes him off and we're back to square one. Turol throws a series of punches but Ton avoids them all with ease.

He's got his arms around Ton's waist but Ton gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Turol off to one side. Turol is breathing heavily. Ton just misses with a punch to the body.

Ton shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Turol defends it nicely. Ton fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Turol manages to avoid it. Nice takedown defense from Turol. No joy for Ton on that attempt. Turol is looking to clinch but Ton is avoiding it.
Turol displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ton. Ton shoots for a double leg takedown but Turol sprawls well. He's pushed Ton's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Turol has Ton up against the cage in a clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Turol has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Ton clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ton is trying to remain composed but Turol is hammering down strikes to the side of his head. Turol lands a punch to the side of the head from the back. Turol is punishing Ton with some ground and pound. Turol looking to break Ton's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Ton remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Turol will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Turol misses with an elbow to the head. Turol looking to soften up his opponent with punches.
Ton is in a bad position with Turol working for a choke. Ton manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ton wants to control from the top but Turol keeps moving. Ton pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Turol is keeping the position for now. Turol wants to sweep here but Ton controlling him for the moment. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Turol looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Ton passes into half guard.
Ton frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ton looking to control but Turol is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Turol is looking to improve his position but Ton isn't that keen on the idea. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ton lands a jab to Turol's midsection. Ton throws a big shot that misses. Ton shoots in looking for a takedown. Turol tries to sprawl out of it but Ton keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Turol manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Turol clinches up against the cage. Turol misses with a punch to the body.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Turol is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ton defends well.

Mike Turol overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Ton seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Turol does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Ton might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Turol kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Mack Ton hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Turol has taken the fight to the clinch.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Mack Ton wasn't active enough on the ground. A leg kick checked by Turol. Turol feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Ton avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Turol throws an elbow that misses. Ton uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Turol's guard. Nice move by Ton! Turol working for a triangle but Ton defends it easily.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Turol throwing strikes but missing. Turol trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Turol is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Ton is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Turol drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ton manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Turol has Ton in his guard.

Turol is looking to regain half guard here but Ton keeps moving and retains side control. Ton scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Turol to see if he's OK. Turol is not content to let Ton control the position.

Ton utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Ton is trying to control the position but Turol postures up. Turol stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ton swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ton trying to control the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ton looking for a guillotine here but Turol defends easily.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mike Turol. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Turol, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
