Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kekoa Tama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucio Palhares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tama comes to the cage accompanied by Ready For War by Daizer The One. Palhares has chosen Three 6 Mafia - It's A Fight as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kekoa Tama!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tama takes a swing at Palhares's ribcage but misses.
Tama fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Tama misses with a hook. Palhares ducked under it nicely.
Tama looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Palhares is fending him off so far but Tama persists. Nope, Palhares circles away and we're back to standing.
Tama jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Palhares avoids the head kick by Tama.
Palhares bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A jab from Tama misses.
Tama connects with a good right hand that stumbles Palhares. Palhares circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Tama is breathing heavily.
Tama throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Palhares sees it coming and avoids it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Palhares closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Palhares advances to mount.
Tama has left one of his arms exposed and Palhares doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Tama screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
