Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael David (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiberio Celentano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). David comes to the cage accompanied by Pokemon. Celentano has chosen The Godfather Theme Song as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Tiberio Celentano was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Michael David!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tiberio Celentano!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Franklyn Lucas and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
David tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Celentano paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Celentano misses with the combination.
Celentano closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Nice takedown defense from Celentano. No joy for David on that attempt.
Celentano misses with the combination.
Celentano scores with a jab to the jaw.
Celentano moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
David on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Celentano tests David's chin there with a solid looking shot.

David manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Celentano on his heels. He'll look to pass Celentano's guard now, I'm sure.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

David is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Celentano is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Celentano has escaped and now he's on top!
Celentano wants to stand but David has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

David has his foot on Celentano's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Celentano works his way back into a safe position though.

David escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Celentano gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Celentano wanted to stand there but David had control of the position.

David is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Celentano avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
David is breathing heavily.
Celentano wants to stand but David is controlling his posture from full guard.

Celentano stands up and waves to David to follow him.
Tiberio Celentano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Celentano's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Celentano duly obliges.
Celentano stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Celentano wants it to stay on the feet.
Celentano fails to land with a series of punches.
David showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Celentano.
Celentano turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

David shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Celentano as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael David. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Celentano misses with a series of wild punches.
David shoots in but no luck this time.
Celentano lands with a nice combination. David backs away looking to recover.

David closes the distance and clinches up with Celentano, looking for a takedown. David pushes Celentano against the cage but Celentano circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Celentano throws a right hand that David ducks under and follows up with a left that David also avoids with ease.
Celentano defends well against a solid takedown attempt from David.
Celentano connects with an inside leg kick.
Celentano rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but David moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
David avoids a punch combination nicely.
David on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Celentano!
Celentano scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
No joy there for Celentano, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Celentano scores with a three punch combo!
Celentano is working the combinations to good effect here.
David has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.


David is rocked!
Celentano throws a right hand that David ducks under and follows up with a left that David also avoids with ease.
Oh David is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Celentano throws an overhand right that drops David like a sack of potatoes! Celentano dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tiberio Celentano!
In his post fight interview, Tiberio Celentano gave a big smile as he said 'I'm gonna take some time off after dis fight. Thank you INY family for good fights and fun times.'.
