The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Geek Fighter stuffs the takedown.
Sedes misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Geek Fighter escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sedes gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Sedes stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Geek Fighter swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Geek Fighter pushes Sedes off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Sedes drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Geek Fighter controls Sedes momentarily but Sedes frees himself.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Sedes is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Geek Fighter defends it well.

Sedes is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Geek Fighter is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Geek Fighter flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Sedes anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Geek Fighter and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Sedes slips an arm under Geek Fighter chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Sedes has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Sedes is squeezing on Geek Fighter like an anaconda would it's prey. Geek Fighter fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
