![](https://www.mmatycoon.com/images/fight/round1.jpg) The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dux shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Traynor sprawls well. Traynor wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dux gets slowly back to his feet. The fight stays on the outside here - Dux looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Dux fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Traynor scores with a one two! Dux had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Dux looks for a takedown but Traynor sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Dux. That's going to take a lot out of him. Traynor misses with a wild combination.
A head kick by Traynor misses and Dux counters with a nice low kick that buckles Traynor's knee momentarily. Traynor is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Traynor looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Dux decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Dux has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Dux quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Dux but it's paid off an Traynor is forced to tap! Nice work by Dux.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Frank Dux! A loyal slave to those sponsorship dollars, Frank Dux made sure he mentioned Vandal Fight Boutique (prices $8 - $30), along with how happy he was to win his fight.
