Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Will Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyoto Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liddell has chosen Go Ninja- Vanilla Ice as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Will Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lyoto Liddell! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, David Schapiro and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Liddell as he jumps to the side. Jones doesn't manage to clinch there - Liddell circles away.
Liddell tries a head kick but it misses.
Liddell looks to land a combination but Jones avoids it well. Liddell misses with a head kick.
Jones decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Liddell avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Jones. Jones has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Jones looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Jones stops Liddell from getting back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones stalling. Jones is trying to control the action in half guard but Liddell is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Liddell avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Jones. Liddell tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Jones has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Jones trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Liddell tries to lock up and control but Jones gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Jones lands a nice shot to the head. Jones tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones throwing strikes here but Liddell is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Jones trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Liddell really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Liddell throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Jones controlling the pace for now. Jones landing strikes from the mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones working away from the top, dropping strikes. Liddell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jones tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Liddell tries to hold on but Jones postures up. Jones looking to control and managing it successfully. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Liddell can do anything to dispel that myth. Liddell wants to hold on but Jones pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Will Jones dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Liddell throws a sloppy head kick and Jones moves out of range easily. Jones fails with a takedown attempt. Will Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jones lands a nice leg kick that just misses Liddell's sensitive parts. Jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Liddell tries to avoid it but Jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Liddell to the ground. Liddell escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Jones wants to clinch. Liddell misses with a head kick.
Jones takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Liddell tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jones swats him away and circles back towards the center. Liddell stuffs the takedown attempt from Jones. Jones gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Will Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jones will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Liddell throws the kick towards the body but Jones avoids it. Jones takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Lyoto Liddell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Liddell tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jones swats him away and circles back towards the center. Liddell looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Liddell tries to break the clinch but Jones is controlling the position. Jones wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Jones keeps control of Liddell as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Liddell is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Jones avoiding damage as Liddell throws knees to the body.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Liddell. Jones breaks from the clinch.
Jones misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Liddell.
Liddell tries to clinch up but Jones circles away and keeps his distance. Liddell keeps Jones at a distance using the push kick. Liddell throws a push kick but Jones slaps the foot to one side. Liddell wants to clinch but Jones slips to the side and Jones counters by moving into the clinch. Liddell is trying to break the clinch but Jones has him pressed against the cage. A body shot lands from Liddell.
Liddell breaks from the clinch.
A right-left combo lands from Liddell.
Jones is rocked! Liddell seems to be stalking Jones here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Jones drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
