Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paulus Herzog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nena Apina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Apina scores with a takedown into Herzog's guard.
Apina wants to pass the guard but Herzog is keeping the position.
Apina should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Apina is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Apina gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Apina gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Apina apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Apina throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Herzog was covering up waiting for the punch and Apina finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Apina is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Herzog is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
