Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, John Mangel and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Benedicic is fending him off so far but Brown persists. Nope, Benedicic circles away and we're back to standing.
Brown misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Benedicic throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brown's waist but Brown gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Benedicic off to one side.
Benedicic clinches up with Brown and pushes him back against the cage.
Brown is trying to pull guard but Benedicic turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Benedicic bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Brown's guard.

Brown is looking for a triangle but Benedicic pushes his legs off easily.

Brown has Benedicic pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Brown pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Benedicic tumbling to the mat - Brown dives into Benedicic's guard.
Benedicic wants to stand up but Brown is controlling him.
Brown stands and steps away. Benedicic gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
The fight stays on the outside here - Benedicic looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Brown takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

and Brown counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Benedicic!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brown jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Benedicic manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Brown is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Benedicic is surviving well by controlling Brown's body position as best he can.

Benedicic is wriggling around trying to escape.
Brown looking to control and managing it successfully.
Brown is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Benedicic to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Benedicic shrugs it off.
Benedicic flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Brown lands a big shot there that rocks Benedicic but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Brown manages to capitalize on a mistake by Benedicic to take his back!

Brown has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Benedicic is in real trouble here. Brown gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Benedicic is tapping out! Brown wins by rear naked choke!
