The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blatt closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Hemmer breaks from the clinch.
Hemmer tries to clinch up and Blatt counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Blatt is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hemmer sees it coming and defends easily. Blatt performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
