Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ivo Petric (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maxim Dunaev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 12 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivo Petric!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Maxim Dunaev!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Illya Tyunina and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dunaev tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Petric stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Dunaev.
Dunaev tries to clinch up but Petric circles away and keeps his distance.
Dunaev shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Petric as he avoids it easily.
Dunaev throws a nice head kick!
Dunaev gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Petric stands up and waves to Dunaev to follow him.
Petric misses with a jab, cross combination.
Petric clinches.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Petric lands a knee to the head.
Petric jumps guard and drags Dunaev to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Petric looking for a sweep. Not yet Petric, not yet.
Dunaev must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Dunaev wants to stand and escape but instead Petric has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Petric drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dunaev looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dunaev looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dunaev!

Petric is looking for a sweep.
Dunaev wants to stand but Petric is controlling his arm.
Petric is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Dunaev is controlling him well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Petric tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Petric tries to reverse the position but Dunaev maintains control.

Petric trying desperately to get to his feet.
Dunaev really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Petric. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Petric is looking to improve his position but Dunaev isn't that keen on the idea.
Dunaev wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.
Petric really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Dunaev manages to capitalize on a mistake by Petric to take his back!

Petric staying busy and making it hard for Dunaev to control.
Dunaev is trying to control but Petric is trying to escape here - he's now mounted.

Dunaev is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Petric moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Petric throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

Petric working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dunaev doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dunaev manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Dunaev tries to free his leg and advance position but Petric is retaining full guard.
Dunaev has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Petric is proving hard to escape from.
Petric has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Dunaev has passed into side control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Dunaev wants to stand but Petric is controlling his arm.

Petric fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dunaev, pushing him back against the cage.
Dunaev has had enough of the clinch but Petric keeps him there for the moment.
Dunaev is trying to force a seperation but Petric has the dominant position.
Petric tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Dunaev smiles and moves away.
Petric bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Dunaev blocks a head kick by Petric.
Dunaev is looking to clinch but Petric is avoiding it.
A low kick from Petric misses
and Dunaev counters with an inside leg kick.
Petric has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ivo Petric. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Dunaev makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Petric really felt that one!
Dunaev tries to clinch there but Petric circles away.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Good leg kick by Dunaev there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Dunaev thows a body kick. Petric tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Dunaev tries to clinch but Petric is having none of it.
Petric takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Ivo Petric has been cut.
Ivo Petric seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dunaev lands a big head kick that sends Petric tumbling to the mat! Dunaev takes a step backwards and waves Petric back to his feet - he wants the finish!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Petric walks forward, straight into a front kick from Dunaev.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Dunaev! Petric is out on his feet! Dunaev rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Petric is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Petric is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
