Jobber vX is rocked!
Bird feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Jobber vX is still in real trouble! Can Bird finish him? Bird slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Bird is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Jobber vX looks calm but he's in trouble here. Bird gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Jobber vX is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Bird lets go of the hold and Jobber vX can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Earl Bird!
