Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between That Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donald Patterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guy's entrance music is Nyan song. A fine choice. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guy misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Patterson has closed the distance and engaged Guy in a clinch.
Guy takes an elbow to the forehead.

Guy has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Patterson after a bit of a struggle.
Patterson is pressed up against the cage. Guy has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Patterson down to the mat. Patterson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Guy is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Patterson gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Guy wants the takedown. Patterson is fighting it off but Guy persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Patterson's guard against the cage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Patterson wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Guy manages to pass to side control.
Guy thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Guy is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Patterson still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Patterson has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Patterson wants to stand but Guy has his arm trapped.

Patterson wants to control for a moment but Guy uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Patterson is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Guy lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Patterson!
Guy misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Patterson is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Patterson really wants to buck Guy off and get back to his feet.

Guy has hold of Patterson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Patterson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

That was a close round but I would say that That Guy will probably get the nod.
