Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, William Gold and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferris fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Ferris looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
A punch combination from Ferris misses.
Sakurai throws a sloppy head kick and Ferris moves out of range easily.
Sakurai pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sakurai lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Ferris throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nice sprawl there from Sakurai as Ferris shoots in.
A good leg kick by Sakurai.
Sakurai lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Ferris blocks a head kick by Sakurai.
Sakurai throws a shot from downtown. Ferris moves away and avoids it.
Ferris misses with a low kick.
Sakurai throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Ferris tumbling to the canvas!
Ferris is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Sakurai content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Oh Ferris is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sakurai is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Sakurai passes easily into side control. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sakurai stands up.
Sakurai is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Ferris flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Ferris is out cold! Sakurai holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Hiro Sakurai!
