Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Barton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 50 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Doe!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doe takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Barton throws a body punch but Doe moves out of range.
Doe tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Doe takes a jab right on the kisser.
Barton cracks the inside of Doe's front leg.
Doe throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Doe moves out of range of the body kick.
Doe misses with a low kick as Barton jumps back.
A clash of legs there as Doe blocks the low kick.
Doe swings widly with a right hand
and Barton counters with a series of strikes. Doe will be more careful next time no doubt.

Barton blocks a jab.
Jon Doe is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Barton fails in his attempt to clinch.
Doe misses with a head kick.
Barton tries to clinch but Doe moves out of range.

Doe throws a head kick that misses.
Doe tests Barton's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A head kick misses from Doe.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Barton takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Barton lands with an overhand left.
Barton has a takedown stuffed.
Doe takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Barton fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Doe is out of range.

Barton tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Doe manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Doe throws a sloppy head kick
and Barton counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Barton pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Barton connects with a nice looking jab.
Barton digs a good hook to Doe's body.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Barton moves away from the strike by Doe.
Doe throws a lazy head kick
and Barton counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Doe pulls out of a head kick attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Barton staying out of range there.
Barton is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Doe.
Barton takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Barton shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Doe but Doe pushes him off and we're back to square one.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jack Barton will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!



Barton rushes Doe and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Barton misses with the head strike.
Doe wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Barton has him pressed against the cage.
Doe is trying to break free.
Doe tries to work over Barton's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Barton is trying to pull guard but Doe has him pressed against the cage.
Doe blocks a body shot from Barton.

Doe misses with some punches.

Barton lands a nice shot to the body.
The referee calls for Doe to work.
Doe prevents a body shot from Barton.
A right hand to the body from Barton.
Doe gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Barton.
Barton blocks a punch to the side of the head.
A short body shot lands from Barton as the two fighters clinch.
Barton keeps control of Doe as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Doe has had enough of the clinch but Barton keeps him there for the moment.
Barton scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Barton tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Doe's elbow.
Doe stalling the fight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Doe's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Barton doesn't manage to clinch there - Doe circles away.
Barton lands a head shot.
Barton takes a swing at Doe's ribcage but misses.
Doe throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Barton shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Doe as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Barton. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Barton throws a jab when Doe was well out of range.
Jon Doe has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Doe scores with a crisp jab that stopped Barton in his tracks.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Barton scores with a leg kick.
Barton lands a jab.
Doe keeps the fight on the outside.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jack Barton showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Barton has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
