Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
27 - 20 - 1, fighting out of London, John The Pitbull! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Merik Hunt! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Pitbull dodges the punch combination from Hunt.
Hunt tries to clinch but The Pitbull moves out of range. Hunt clinches up against the cage. Hunt wants a takedown.
Hunt drops to a knee looking for a takedown but The Pitbull gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Hunt lands a takedown into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. The Pitbull keeping moving, preventing Hunt from controlling successfully. The Pitbull trying to control the position.
The Pitbull is looking for a triangle but Hunt pushes his legs off easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Hunt trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Hunt passes easily into side control. Nice work. Hunt wants to lay and pray for a moment but The Pitbull keeps working. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The Pitbull tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hunt wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Hunt has knee on belly and moves into mount. Hunt lands a big shot there that rocks The Pitbull but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hunt working the ground and pound effectively.
It looks like John The Pitbull has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The Pitbull can't escape the position.
The Pitbull tries to hold on but Hunt pushes him away. BOOM! Hunt connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Hunt breaks from The Pitbull's wrist control and lands an elbow.
The Pitbull is rocked! Hunt postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt The Pitbull bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Hunt and the fight is over!
