Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dingo Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harris comes into the arena with Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sport blaring out of the sound system. On his way into the cage it seems that Dingo Harris has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Dingo Harris seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dingo Harris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mike Hunt! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Hugh Johnson and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Harris looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Harris looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Hunt escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Harris gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Harris looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Harris is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Harris wants to control from the top but Hunt keeps moving. Harris throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hunt works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Hunt looking for a sweep. Not yet Hunt, not yet. Hunt is looking for a triangle here but Harris uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Harris knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hunt on the ground. Harris trying to control the action but Hunt is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Harris scores with punches from side control. Harris trying to control the position but Hunt is working away. Harris wants to stand but Hunt is controlling his arm. Hunt is looking for a sweep. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hunt throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
You can see the frustration on Hunt's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Hunt prevents Harris from improving position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Hunt misses with a takedown attempt and Harris decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hunt's guard. Hunt tries to strike from the bottom.
Hunt is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Hunt looks gassed! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Harris postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Hunt lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Harris! Hunt scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Harris gets back to half guard. Hunt thows a huge punch but Harris dodges it nicely.
Hunt passes the guard and advances to mount! Harris tries to hold on but Hunt postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harris is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Hunt is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Hunt with the ground and pound from mount. Hunt wants to finish this one by submission but Harris is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Hunt. Harris is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Harris taking shots to the head. Hunt looking for a guillotine from mount but Harris is having none of it. Harris wants to hold on but Hunt pushes him away. A nice elbow there by Hunt. Hunt raining down shots from the mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hunt working the ground and pound effectively.
Hunt cracks Harris with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Hunt scoring with strikes but Harris is staying in there.
Harris is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hunt lands with some strikes. Oh Harris is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Harris tries to hold on but Hunt postures up. Harris seems to have got his legs back now. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hunt cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Harris wants to control but Hunt is having none of it. Hunt is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Harris can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Harris is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Hunt avoids the attempt from Harris to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Hunt dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Hunt gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Harris counters with a single leg into guard. Hunt didn't expect that. Hunt has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Hunt controls Harris momentarily but Harris frees himself. Harris wants to control from the top but Hunt keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Harris won't allow Hunt to get back to his feet. Harris wants to control from the top but Hunt keeps moving. Harris won't allow Hunt to sweep him here. Hunt lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Harris! Hunt with shots to the head and body - Harris looks very uncomfortable down there. Hunt is breathing heavily. Harris is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Harris in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Hunt is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Harris can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Hunt with a couple of short strikes. Harris taking shots to the head. Hunt dominating with strikes here. Hunt lands with some strikes. Hunt quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Hunt but it's paid off an Harris is forced to tap! Nice work by Hunt.
