Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Ragay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leroy Sloan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Rocky Ragay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Leroy Sloan!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Sosuke Kotani and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloan misses with a takedown

and Ragay holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Ragay turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Ragay manages to end up in side control.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Sloan is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Ragay decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Sloan fails to land the takedown.
Sloan shoots in looking for a takedown but Ragay manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sloan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Rocky Ragay has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leroy Sloan.

Ragay closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Sloan closes the distance and clinches up with Ragay, looking for a takedown. Sloan pushes Ragay against the cage but Ragay circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Sloan tries to clinch up but Ragay circles away and keeps his distance.
Sloan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ragay circles away.

Ragay closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sloan to the mat! Sloan manages to get full guard.

Sloan wants to stand and escape but Ragay is having none of it.

Ragay misses with a takedown attempt - Sloan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sloan closes the distance and clinches up with Ragay, looking for a takedown. Sloan pushes Ragay against the cage but Ragay circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Sloan shoots for a double leg takedown but Ragay sprawls well. He's pushed Sloan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Sloan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ragay tries to avoid it but Sloan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ragay to the ground. Ragay escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Ragay decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sloan's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sloan wants to stand up but Ragay is controlling him.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Sloan not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Ragay won't allow Sloan to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Sloan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ragay's waist but Ragay gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sloan off to one side.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ragay, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
