Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Captain Jack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gab Pride (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Captain Jack!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Gab Pride!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Josh West and Paul Gruel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jack bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Pride's head backwards.
Pride misses with a wild combination.
Jack is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

It looks like Captain Jack has been cut.
Pride smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Pride cracks Jack with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Pride has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Jack to stand back up!

Captain Jack's cut is getting worse.
A punch combination from Pride misses.
Pride lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jack circles away quickly and effectively.
Pride looks to land a right hand but Jack moved out of range.
Jack thows a left - swing and a miss!
Pride slips a straight right by Jack.
A left and a right from Jack both land. Nice combination.
Pride throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jack sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A jab from Pride misses.
Jack is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pride.
Pride swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Jack connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Pride's hands.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Oooooh!!! Pride has knocked Jack down with a huge combo! Pride steps away and waves a wobbly Jack back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Pride staying out of range there.
Some wild striking there from Jack.
Pride throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jack throws a big shot that misses.
Jack changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pride gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Pride moves out of range of the strikes.
Pride throws a lazy right hand but Jack sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Pride moves into range and connects with a jab.

Jeez, Captain Jack's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Pride lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Captain Jack's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
