Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darius Alexander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Rojeo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexander shoots in and drives through. Rojeo sprawls well.
Alexander throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Alexander changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rojeo tries to avoid it but Alexander manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rojeo to the ground. Rojeo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Rojeo dives in and grabs Alexander's left leg, looking for a takedown. Alexander pushes down on Rojeo's head and hops out.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rojeo feints and as Alexander raises his hands in defense, Rojeo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Rojeo throws a strike but Alexander rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Rojeo throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Alexander escapes and throws Rojeo's legs to the side, diving into side control!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Rojeo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Alexander has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rojeo has managed to get both his arms back between Alexander's legs - danger averted.
