The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oliveira drops Gonzalez with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Gonzalez looks back up at him and smiles so Oliveira waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Gonzalez is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Oliveira gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Gonzalez is still on wobbly legs! Can Oliveira finish him?
Gonzalez looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Oliveira effectively controlling the action here.
Oliveira scores with a shot to the side of Gonzalez's head.
Gonzalez goes for a takedown in the clinch but Oliveira prevents it.
Oliveira gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Gonzalez regains guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Oliveira stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gonzalez swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Gonzalez seems to have recovered his senses.
Oliveira drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Oliveira jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Oliveira passes Gonzalez's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Oliveira wants to pass to mount but Gonzalez is defending the position.
Oliveira is looking for a kimura but Gonzalez is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Oliveira to get the leverage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Oliveira seems to be looking for submissions.
Oliveira in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Gonzalez tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Oliveira!
