Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brad Pickett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocko Slavich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Brad Pickett! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rocko Slavich! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pickett wants to clinch and Slavich makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Slavich lands the left hand. Slavich fails with the takedown. Slavich shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pickett as he avoids it easily. Slavich throws a shot to the body.
Slavich throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Pickett tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Slavich paws at him with a jab and circles away. Pickett takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Slavich scores with a shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slavich will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Brad Pickett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rocko Slavich. Slavich uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Rocko Slavich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice straight punches there by Slavich. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Slavich. Slavich tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pickett was well out of range. Poor timing from Slavich. Slavich attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Slavich throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Slavich lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Pickett takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Slavich thows a body shot but no joy. Slavich jabs at Pickett's body. Pickett is breathing heavily. Pickett gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Slavich. Slavich is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Pickett rather than just go for the knockout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slavich connects with an inside leg kick. Slavich moves into the clinch. Pickett creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Slavich lands a good knee to the midsection. Pickett won't want to take too many of those. Slavich lands an uppercut. Slavich connects with a big uppercut there that sends Pickett tumbling to the ground! Slavich follows him down into his guard.
Pickett is rocked! Slavich makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Oh Pickett is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Slavich gets to his feet and stands over Pickett, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Pickett felt that one! Slavich unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Pickett from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rocko Slavich! Our winner, Rocko Slavich, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
