The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Aleksandr Martynov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Summer.
Summer cracks Cruz with a good jab.
Cruz lands a nice shot that snaps Summer's head back.
Summer looks to throw the jab but Cruz is out of range.
Summer wants to clinch
and Cruz counters with a nice body shot.
Cruz lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Summer backs up against the cage.
Summer moves in looking to clinch but Cruz pushes him off.
Summer misses with a wild body shot.
A head kick from Cruz lands but Summer takes it in his stride.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Summer trying to control the position but instead, Cruz has worked for underhooks and has pushed Summer into the cage.

Summer jumps guard but Cruz stands there with Summer around his waist. Summer gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Cruz using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Summer has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
