Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mike Howard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seppo Kova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Howard's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, My Block. The crowd seem to be enjoying Kova's choice of entrance music: Jääkärimarssi. Seppo Kova will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mike Howard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Seppo Kova!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Micheangelo Fripello and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howard shoots in for a takedown but Kova shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Howard fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Howard could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Howard changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kova tries to avoid it but Howard manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kova to the ground. Kova escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Howard. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kova feints and then cracks Howard's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Howard down.
Kova stalks Howard and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Howard's face. Howard staggers backwards, shaken.
Howard closes the distance and clinches up with Kova, looking for a takedown. Howard pushes Kova against the cage but Kova circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Howard slips a jab and a cross from Kova.
Nice sprawl there from Kova as Howard shoots in.
Howard tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Howard is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kova sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Kova misses with a jab, cross combination.
A nice combination there by Kova.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Howard is breathing heavily.
Kova scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Kova lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Howard backs up against the cage.
Howard is rocked!
Seppo Kova seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Kova!
Oh Howard is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A solid body kick from Kova.
Kova scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Howard throws a wild hook but Kova just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Howard gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Kova raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Seppo Kova!
