Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rob Adam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Longfellow Deeds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adam comes to the cage accompanied by Grateful Deads- Truckin'. Deeds has chosen Evils Deeds as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rob Adam!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Longfellow Deeds!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Steve Erwin and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deeds connects with a crisp jab.
Deeds scores with a nice head shot.
Adam staying out of range there.
Adam throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Deeds throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Deeds works over Adam's head and body with a nice combination.
Adam misses with a straight left.
Deeds lands a slapping body shot.
Adam ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Deeds moves away.
The fighters circling - Adam throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Deeds feints and as Adam raises his hands in defense, Deeds changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Adam keeping full guard, as Deeds tries to pass.
Adam might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Adam pulls Deeds in close to prevent any damage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Deeds postures up.
Adam wants to sweep but no luck.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Rob Adam wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Deeds takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Adam takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Deeds shoots for a takedown but Adam saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Deeds throws a right and a left that Adam avoids nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A big left from Deeds misses.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Deeds takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Jab, jab by Adam - just one landing.
Deeds fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Adam on the side of the head.
Deeds with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Adam to score with a decent uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Deeds blocks a leg kick.
Deeds fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Deeds feints a jab promting Adam to slip. Deeds then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Adam slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
A jab from Adam does it's job there.
Deeds walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Deeds limp body while Adam jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rob Adam!
