Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Glen Dale Arizona (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spike Spiegel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spiegel comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Tank by The Seatbelts kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Spike Spiegel has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Glen Dale Arizona! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Spike Spiegel! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Bruno Hogan and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spiegel looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Spiegel pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Arizona avoids the head kick by Spiegel.
Arizona leaves Spiegel with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Arizona avoids the head kick by Spiegel.
Spiegel tries a head kick but it misses.
Arizona closes the distance and clinches. Spiegel throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Arizona tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Spiegel's elbow. Arizona lands a knee to the body.
Arizona misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Arizona prevents a body shot from Spiegel. Arizona tries to work over Spiegel's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Arizona lands a hook that snaps the head of Spiegel backwards. Nice body punch from Arizona - that landed with a thud.
Spiegel escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Spiegel thows a leg kick but Arizona checks it and Arizona counters with a nice leg kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Arizona fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Spiegel sprawls well initially but Arizona persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Arizona decides to return to a standing position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Spiegel wants to land a leg kick but Arizona is out of range. Spiegel misses with a low kick.
Arizona throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A head kick misses from Spiegel. A head kick misses from Spiegel. A nice leg kick lands there from Arizona. Spiegel tries a head kick but it misses.
Spiegel thows a leg kick but Arizona checks it and Arizona counters with a flying knee. Nice. Arizona misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Arizona lands with a thumping leg kick.

Arizona feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Spiegel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Arizona. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Arizona landing some decent shots from guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Arizona wants to control from the top but Spiegel keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Arizona got a little sloppy there for a moment and Spiegel has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Arizona has managed to get both his arms back between Spiegel's legs - danger averted. Arizona gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. A head kick misses from Spiegel. Arizona sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Spiegel to the ground! Arizona dives into full mount looking to finish!
Spiegel is rocked! Spiegel is trying desperately to improve position. Spiegel is still in real trouble! Can Arizona finish him? Arizona is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Spiegel can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Arizona putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Spiegel throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Spiegel takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Arizona's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Glen Dale Arizona! A very excited looking Glen Dale Arizona rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
