Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shinji Kagawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ikkaku Madarame (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Madarame.
Kagawa is trying to control Madarame's posture but Madarame avoids it.
Madarame is staying tight to Kagawa's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Madarame decides to stand up, so the ref orders Kagawa to his feet.
Kagawa looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Madarame is fending him off so far but Kagawa persists. Nope, Madarame circles away and we're back to standing.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kagawa.
Kagawa throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Madarame's waist but Madarame gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kagawa off to one side.

Madarame shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kagawa's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Well Madarame has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
