Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Coach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Father Frottage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Father Frottage will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, James Coach!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Father Frottage!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coach changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Frottage takes a swing at Coach's ribcage but misses.
Frottage darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Frottage misses with a wild body shot.
Coach takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Frottage misses with an attempted mid kick.
Frottage keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Coach.
Coach connects with a good right hand that stumbles Frottage. Frottage circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Frottage tries to score with a low kick but Coach moves his leg out of the way.
Frottage misses with a series of wild punches.
Frottage turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Coach uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Frottage has time to react.

Coach fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Frottage to the ground. Coach is now in Frottage's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Frottage managing to control the position.
Frottage utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Coach throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Frottage works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Coach is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Frottage wants to sweep here but Coach controlling him for the moment.
Frottage is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Frottage pulls Coach in to control the position.
Frottage manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Coach sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Frottage controlling the action here.

Coach looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Frottage pushes past his half guard into mount!

Coach is working to get back to half guard.
Frottage lands a heavy elbow.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Coach flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Coach is trying to escape the mount.
Coach is working hard here to advance position.
Coach gets back to half guard.
Coach is in trouble now - Frottage has advanced to mount!

Frottage trying to control but Coach is having none of it.
Coach is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Frottage looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Coach might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Frottage looking to control but Coach is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Coach sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Frottage is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Frottage trying to control but Coach is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Coach is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Frottage breaks from Coach's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Frottage working the ground and pound effectively.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Frottage cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Frottage connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Coach is in all sorts of trouble here.
Coach tries to hold on but Frottage pushes him away.
Coach is looking to improve his position but Frottage isn't that keen on the idea.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Father Frottage dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Coach pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Coach cracks Frottage with an open hand slap.
Frottage connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Coach momentarily.
Frottage loads up on a big right hand but Coach slips the punch.
Coach checks a leg kick nicely.
A slow jab from Coach misses its intended target.
Frottage ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Coach moves away.
Frottage lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Frottage tries to clinch there but Coach circles away.
Nice straight punches there by Coach. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Coach.
Frottage ducks under a wild hook from Coach.
Frottage misses with a body shot.
Frottage tried to score with a low kick but Coach checks it.
Coach lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Frottage ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Coach moves away.

Coach gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Frottage bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Coach blocks a jab.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Frottage.
Frottage throws a low kick but it's checked well by Coach.
Coach throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Coach takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Coach moves out of range of the body kick from Frottage.
Coach throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Coach throws a hook but Frottage blocks it.
Coach moves out of range of the body kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Frottage. Coach does a little dance to reset his feet.
Coach moves out of range of the strikes.
Frottage scores with a kick to the body.
Coach lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Frottage at a distance.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Coach misses with a wild body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Coach misses the shot to the body.
Coach moves forwards but Frottage connects with a nice, crisp jab.
A bone on bone clash there as Coach blocks the leg kick.
Frottage lands with an uppercut that bounces Coach off the cage and back into range.
Frottage misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Coach.
An inside leg kick lands from Frottage.
Frottage connects with a nice looking jab.
Frottage has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Frottage shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Coach's guard.

Coach throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Frottage escapes and throws Coach's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Coach wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
Frottage wants to control but Coach is keeping him busy.

Frottage wants to lay and pray for a moment but Coach keeps working.

Father Frottage showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Frottage misses the shot to the body.
Frottage shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Coach sprawls well. Coach wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Frottage gets slowly back to his feet.
Coach misses with an uppercut.
Frottage tries to land a front kick but Coach steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Frottage lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Coach throws a looping overhand right but Frottage ducks down to avoid it.
Frottage displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Coach throws out the jab.
Coach moves away from the strike by Frottage.
Frottage attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Coach takes one to the chin there.
Frottage fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Coach steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Frottage. That one must have hurt.

Frottage throws a leg kick but Coach moved away.
Frottage's corner calls for a 1-2. Frottage obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Coach keeps the fight on the outside.
Frottage swings for the body but Coach moves out of range.
Frottage tries to clinch there but Coach circles away.
Coach missing with a left hand there. Frottage was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Coach looks to land a combination but Frottage avoids it well.
Frottage throws a low kick but Coach avoids it.
Frottage is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Coach throws a body punch but Frottage moves out of range.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Frottage.

Frottage throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Coach tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Frottage is in Coach's guard.

Coach had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Frottage defends it easily.

Coach escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Frottage gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Frottage with a flurry of punches that miss.
James Coach has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Frottage throws a big elbow that misses.
Frottage pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Coach is keeping the position for now.
Frottage trying to control but Coach is working from the bottom.

Coach has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Frottage is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Coach.
Coach wants to get back to his feet but Frottage drags him back down.

Coach takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Frottage is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Coach tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Frottage scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Coach to see if he's OK.
Coach manages to work his way to half guard, despite Frottage's best efforts.
Frottage slows the pace down in half guard.
Coach is looking to improve his position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Coach is not content to let Frottage control the position.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Coach wants to improve his position but Frottage is controlling well.
Coach is looking to get back to full guard here but Frottage has managed to pass to side control instead.
This has been an exciting period of action!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Father Frottage comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Frottage has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
