Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Winson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Tic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jake Winson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Peter Tic! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tic is looking to clinch but Winson is avoiding it.
Winson looks for a takedown but Tic sprawls well. Winson shoots in and drives through. Tic sprawls well. Tic tries to close the distance and clinch up but Winson swats him away and circles back towards the center. Tic feints and as Winson raises his hands in defense, Tic changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Winson being controlled here, momentarily. Tic trying to control the position from guard on top but Winson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Winson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tic doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tic manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tic trying to control but Winson is working from the bottom.
Peter Tic has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Winson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Horrible takedown by Tic or perhaps it was just good defense by Winson which made him look bad. Winson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Tic. Winson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tic is on top in guard.
Tic wants to control from the top but Winson keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tic gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Winson. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jake Winson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Winson looks for a takedown but Tic sprawls well. Winson is breathing heavily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tic moves into range and clinches up with Winson. Winson utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Tic is trying to pull guard but Winson has him pressed against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tic can't get the takedown.
Tic pulls guard successfully.
Tic is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Tic is looking to take a break and control but Winson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Winson avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Tic. Tic is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Tic controlling the action here. Tic is looking to take a break and control but Winson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Winson is pressing down on Tic's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Winson keeping moving, preventing Tic from controlling successfully.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Tic stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tic wants it to stay on the feet. Winson shoots in but Tic avoids the takedown attempt easily. Winson fails with a takedown attempt from distance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Peter Tic dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Winson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tic pinned against the cage. Tic gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Winson, as that shot connected.
Winson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tic sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Winson somewhat. Winson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Winson looking to control.
Tic drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tic jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Tic wants to control from the top but Winson keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Winson keeping full guard, as Tic tries to pass. Winson has control of Tic's left arm, preventing Tic from doing any damage. Winson is trying to keep Tic in close.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Jake Winson just wasn't active enough. Tic is looking to land body kicks. Jake Winson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Winson misses with a double jab.
Winson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Tic sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jake Winson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Winson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Tic avoids it really well and circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tic connects with the punch. Tic scores with a jab to the body. Tic looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Winson! This has been an exciting period of action! Tic working the ground and pound effectively.
Tic landing strikes from the mount. Tic with a couple of short strikes. Winson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Tic is working for a guillotine from mount but Winson frees his head quite easily.
Winson is in a horrible position here. Tic smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tic tries to control but Winson wriggling away. Tic in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Tic takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Tic cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Winson is rocked!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tic looking to secure an arm triangle but Winson defends it well. Oh Winson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Tic lands a big shot to the head and Winson winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Peter Tic!
