Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lothar Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arnulfo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lothar Tyler has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lothar Tyler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Arnulfo Silva!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva tries a head kick but it misses.
Silva throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Silva feints and then cracks Tyler's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Tyler down.
Tyler looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Tyler trying to control the position from guard on top but Silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Tyler prevents Silva from getting back to his feet.
Tyler thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Tyler is controlling him.
Silva is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Tyler gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Silva scoring well with a low kick there.
Tyler rushes Silva and presses him up against the cage.

Silva doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Tyler blocking some punches.
Tyler works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Tyler is breathing heavily.
Silva pushes Tyler off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Silva throws a sloppy head kick and Tyler moves out of range easily.
Silva throws a series of punches but Tyler moves out of range.

Silva wants to control but Tyler is having none of it.
Silva tries to buck Tyler off but he can't manage it.
Tyler looking to ground and pound but Silva is blocking nicely.
Silva's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Silva is looking to improve his position but Tyler isn't that keen on the idea.
Silva wants to try and get back to his feet.
Silva is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Tyler has taken his back!
Silva trying to control the hands but Tyler breaks the grip.
Tyler could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Tyler is working the ground and pound. Can Silva escape?
Silva controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.

Tyler is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Silva has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Tyler lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.
Silva is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Tyler gets his way!

Tyler gets his hands free as Silva looks to control.
Tyler misses with punches from the back.
Silva wants to get back to his feet.
Tyler is looking to control Silva but Silva is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Tyler is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Silva is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Silva is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tyler doesn't have the hooks in and Silva manages to turn into his guard.
Tyler is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Silva goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Silva gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Silva wants to sweep here but Tyler controlling him for the moment.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Tyler is wriggling around trying to escape.
Tyler stops Silva from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Lothar Tyler will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Silva misses with a head kick.
Silva scores with a hook.
Tyler moves into the clinch successfully.
Tyler breaks from the clinch.
Silva throws a sloppy head kick and Tyler moves out of range easily.
Tyler finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Silva throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Silva keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Tyler avoids the head kick by Silva.
Silva tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Tyler drives through with a takedown into guard.

Tyler in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Silva lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Tyler drives through and clinches with Silva against the cage.

Silva tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Silva letting Tyler take a breather here.
Tyler decides to pull guard.
Tyler wants to sweep here but Silva controlling him for the moment.
Tyler is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Silva is trying to stand up here but Tyler is controlling him well.
Tyler wants to lay and pray for a moment but Silva keeps working.
Silva is trying to control but can't.
Tyler is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Silva is just riding it out for now. Tyler eventually gives up the hold.
Silva tries to kick Tyler off but Tyler keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Tyler is working for a submission of some sort.
Tyler stops Silva from getting back to his feet.

Silva gets caught flat footed, as Tyler shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Silva has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Tyler off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Oh Tyler is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Silva shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Tyler takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Silva sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Tyler bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
