The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid leg kick lands there for Pickervance.
Pickervance lands a nice looking body shot.

A clash of legs there as Pickervance blocks the low kick.
Pickervance connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Pickervance has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Babcock throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A bone on bone clash there as Pickervance blocks the leg kick.
Babcock looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Pickervance throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Babcock.
Babcock throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Pickervance stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Babcock closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Babcock lands in his opponent's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Babcock on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Babcock throws a body punch but Pickervance moves out of range.
Babcock tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pickervance takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Percival Pickervance showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Pickervance is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Babcock.

Babcock tries to bum rush Pickervance with a series of wild strikes but Pickervance uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well Pickervance has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
