The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petzel throws a nice looking combination but Blackbelt bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Blackbelt shoots in but no luck this time.
Petzel stuffs the takedown attempt from Blackbelt. Blackbelt gets slowly back to his feet.
Blackbelt feints and as Petzel raises his hands in defense, Blackbelt changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Blackbelt drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Petzel manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Blackbelt has Petzel in his guard.
Petzel has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Blackbelt is proving hard to escape from.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Blackbelt wants to sweep but no luck.
Blackbelt lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Petzel!
Petzel tries to lock up and control but Blackbelt gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The referee warns Petzel that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Petzel is still in real trouble! Can Blackbelt finish him?
Blackbelt cracks Petzel with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Petzel is trying to escape the mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Blackbelt looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Petzel covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
