The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The crowd cheers as Jones lands an impressive looking overhand right. Meijers doesn't seem phased though.
Meijers fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Meijers misses with a looping right.
Jones checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Jones misses with a head kick.
Meijers displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jones throws out the jab.
Jones misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Meijers keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Jones.
A nice combination there by Jones.

It looks like Joost Meijers has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jones, as that shot connected.
Jones bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Meijers moves out of range of the body kick.
Meijers throws a hook but Jones blocks it.
Jones throws a head kick that misses.
Jones grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Meijers takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Jones cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
