Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oscarito Campos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincenzo Alamente (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Campos's entrance music is Snow. A fine choice. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Oscarito Campos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vincenzo Alamente! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Campos avoids the head kick by Alamente.
Campos closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Campos is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Alamente flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Alamente is not content to let Campos control the position. Alamente looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Campos lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Campos wants to free his trapped foot but Alamente is holding on for dear life with his legs. Campos not landing any meaningful shots this time. Alamente landing small, sideways elbows. Alamente looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Campos shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Campos misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Alamente stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Oscarito Campos. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alamente tries to bum rush Campos with a series of wild strikes but Campos uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Alamente scores with a nice strike. Alamente throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Oscarito Campos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Alamente closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Alamente lands in his opponent's guard. Alamente throwing strikes from guard but Campos blocks nicely. Alamente won't allow Campos to sweep him here. Campos looking for a guillotine here but Alamente defends easily.
Campos is breathing heavily. Alamente throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Campos has his foot on Alamente's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Alamente works his way back into a safe position though. Alamente throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Alamente must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Alamente stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Campos swivels though and keeps the full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Alamente makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Alamente postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Alamente tries to free his leg and advance position but Campos is retaining full guard. Alamente working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Alamente wants to pass the guard but Campos is keeping the position. Alamente has gone for a leg lock! Campos slips out almost immediately though and dives into Alamente's guard. Campos wants to pass the guard but Alamente is keeping the position. Campos has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Alamente working for submissions but it's allowed Campos to get to half guard.

Well, if Campos is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Alamente is trying desperately to improve position. Campos manages to capitalize on a mistake by Alamente to take his back! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Alamente breaks Campos's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Alamente is pushing down on Campos's leg trying to pass to half guard. Campos is fighting to maintain full guard but Alamente has managed to sneak the leg through. Alamente is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Campos has managed to free his arm - good work. Campos regains full guard. Nicely done. Alamente trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Campos manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Campos postures up and lands a big shot to Alamente's brow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Oscarito Campos will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Campos fails with the takedown and Alamente counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Campos's guard now. Alamente preventing the sweep. Campos is looking for a triangle but Alamente pushes his legs off easily.
Alamente thows a big elbow that misses. Alamente content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Alamente wants to pass the guard but Campos is keeping the position. Alamente slips nicely into half guard. Alamente passes to side control. Vincenzo Alamente has got the better of the ground game so far. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Campos takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Alamente is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Campos is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alamente tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Alamente throwing strikes but Campos manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Alamente gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Campos blocks the strikes from Alamente.
Alamente works his way to full guard. Good work. Campos trying to control but Alamente is working from the bottom. Alamente is looking for a triangle but Campos pushes his legs off easily.
Alamente looking to hit a scissor sweep but Campos is one step ahead there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Alamente throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Alamente tries to land a sweep but no joy. Alamente is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Campos trying to control the position from guard on top but Alamente is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Alamente throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Campos in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Campos avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Alamente wants to sweep but no luck. Campos trying to control the position from guard on top but Alamente is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Alamente escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Campos gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Campos lands a couple of elbows. Campos thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Alamente looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Campos postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Alamente wants to sweep here but Campos controlling him for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Alamente will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Campos passes easily into side control. Nice work. Campos working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Alamente takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Campos controls the position. Alamente tries to buck Campos off but Campos is having none of it. Campos is looking to take a break and control but Alamente is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Alamente sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Campos slows the pace down in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vincenzo Alamente showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Campos's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Campos has his takedown stuffed and Alamente counters with a two punch combo. Campos shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Alamente counters with a left and a right... And another left! Campos is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
