The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A clash of legs there as Fonte blocks the low kick.
Guarana changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fonte tries to avoid it but Guarana manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fonte to the ground. Fonte escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Fonte keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Fonte darts in trying to clinch
and Guarana counters by clinching up.
Fonte manages to pull guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Guarana prevents Fonte from getting back to his feet.
Fonte is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Guarana looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Fonte prevents Guarana from standing back up.

Guarana wants to control but Fonte is keeping busy.
Fonte wants to stand but Guarana has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Guarana is refusing to be controlled, as Fonte sits in half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Guarana manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Guarana has his feet on Fonte's thighs here. He's pushed Fonte off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Fonte screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
