Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, LA youngling BJJ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Meng Rao! The judges for this bout are , and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rao scores with a one two! BJJ had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Nice takedown defense from Rao. No joy for BJJ on that attempt. Nice body kick from Rao. BJJ takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Rao lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
BJJ is rocked! Rao thuds a left hand into BJJ's body. Oh BJJ is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A swing and a miss from BJJ. BJJ seems to have got his legs back now. BJJ takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! BJJ throws a combination that misses and Rao counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Rao dips down and scores with a jab to the body. BJJ is breathing heavily. BJJ blocks a head kick by Rao.
Rao swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rao throws a quick inside leg kick. Rao moves out of range of the body kick. BJJ shoots and misses enabling Rao to counter with a crisp jab. BJJ takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rao misses with a double jab
and BJJ counters with a lovely shot to the body. Rao steps to the side to avoid the strikes from BJJ. Meng Rao is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Rao misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rao punishes BJJ's body with a nice straight punch. A low kick from BJJ is predictable there and Rao counters with a series of strikes. BJJ will be more careful next time no doubt. Rao throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Rao lands with a kick to the ribs.

Rao dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Rao fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nice jab there from BJJ. Rao lands with a big left! BJJ is wobbled badly! Rao comes in with a flurry of punches and drops BJJ to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Meng Rao!
